John Chambers
Owner, Engineer and Producer. John has been recording bands for over 10 years. In 2004, he opened the doors to the studio and recorded bands such as The Amoeba Men, Classic, Dolores, Suppression, Man Speaking Chinese, Hex Machine, PCP RoadBlock, Silent Film, La Mere Vipere, Atomatron, Kojak and many more! Lead Singer/Guitarist/Songwriter in Hallelujah!

Richard "The Genius" Schellenberg
Owner, Master Engineer, Espresso swiller, and Flying Spaghetti Monster worshiper, Ordanied Minister in the Universal Life Church, and former high Grand Master of the Church of Subgenius...
Recording for over 26 years, playing for over 33, Richard has recorded and produced many types of acts, including folk (Kevin), jam bands (Farm Vegas), rock (Lucky Stiffs, IMG, Swing a Dead Cat), hardcore (Direct Control), ambient (Gutterwall), metal (Lycosa), emo (Since 1913), classical and many others. Started recording on 2 inch 16 track at Live Wire's studio in Alexandria, and has many years experience recording mixing and producing analog audio at many different studios. Ian Whalen
Ian is Etching Tin's newest engineer. He has been playing/recording music for 15+ years both in front of and behind "the glass" (also drywall, wood paneling and sometimes blankets thrown over mic stands).
Ian has worked with bands and musicians of many styles but metal and rock seem to keep him busiest. He has worked with Lamb of God (Sacrament, New American Gospel) Motion Picture Demise (Rebuild - Reform), Rah Bras (WHOHM), Bats and Mice (A Person Carrying a Paper Bag is Considered as a Royal Person) Hindu Affiliate (Evening Knowledge) and many others. His most recent projects are Alabama Thunderpussy's 2007 release "Open Fire" (recorded and mixed) and RPG's yet to be titled second album. Ian has two cats a special lady friend and is a member of the band RPG.
Chris Crisis
Studio Manager. He makes sure the business side of the studio runs smoothly. He is also our writer. He is a brilliant artist, photographer and graphic designer. He also writes our script for ads. Having been involved in the music scene in one way or another for over twenty years, he brings his eclectic style to the table.

Joe Lagey
Studio Tech. Graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Film Making. A talented musician, and creative individual he decided he would like to learn the engineering side of making music. Plays guitar and sings in Horrible Axidents, and co-produces local pod cast, Over From The Underground.
